I recently stayed at Hotel Cecil for a 3-night trip and it was a wonderful experience. The deluxe room with balcony was spotlessly clean and comfortable, offering a great vantage point to observe the lively street below. The daily complimentary snacks were a nice touch, and the hot shower was much appreciated. The location was perfect - not overly touristy but still alive with street food, second-hand bookshops, and a vibrant fruit and vegetable market. The hotel's proximity to the metro, taxi stand, and Uber availability made it easy to explore the city.
I do recommend this hotel.
